Slow progress and lots of changes to make to my dissertation. So pleased I have time to proof read. http://twitgoo.com/29ad6u
I seem to enjoy missing out full stops in my dissertation. Currently averaging one missing per page.
Bed time has been delayed as I'm listening to Mouse World Radio and IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth is starting soon. Is that sad?
Lee Stone slightly concerned by the number of empty cans and empty bottles of vodka I've just cleared up from the lounge!

Anyone know where I might find a statistic on the percentage of smartphone owners who have ever downloaded/installed an app?

To make @andyide happy - just had Word crash on me for the first time since starting to write my dissertation
Also discovered a nice set of APIs at http://www.geonames.org today for location based stuff, including reverse geocoding
Knowing the city the signpost is in and the name of a location, I can now get an info paragraph from Wikipedia. e.g. Assembly Rooms in Bath

Anyone know anything about getting bytes per pixel or bytes per line values from an image stored as a byte array? http://bit.ly/lqNHHe
If you see me in Bath taking photos of signposts, it's for my final year project, not me being weird!
Lee Stone Woke up in the middle of the night and wrote myself a note for the morning 'Freshers Homebase'. Now I haven't a clue what it/they are in relation to. Anyone got any ideas?

So, half my user testing done. Just need to finish the final bits of the app off to do the other half. Fingers crossed to be all done Wed :s
Hopefully going to get some user testing done this afternoon. Hopefully it won't go tits up and require me to do it again!

And my hatred for non-standard english characters has been renewed. Nice hour or so spent round chasing bugs related to that!
Well, that's a slightly backwards work around for the fact that Bath doesn't support https in curl
Just remembered to get some of my domains signed up with Google Apps before they cut the number of free users from 50 to 10
So, 2 new domains ordered. Looking forward to being able to do stuff with the domains I have in a months time!
Enough project work for tonight. Almost achieved all I wanted to today. Time for bed :)

I must stop seeing books in shops and then ordering them. Just pre-ordered the 2nd edition Smashing WordPress book. http://amzn.to/iqTYQb

So that's two step verification set up for my Google Apps Account.... Back to the dissertation then I suppose....
If I was someone watching a user use an application and noting down what they do etc. What would I be called? Just can't remember the name..
